Belgian Waffle Recipe


— 2 cups flour

— 2 tsp baking powder

— 2 tbsp sugar

— 1/2 tsp salt

— 2 eggs

— 2 cups milk

— 4 tbsp butter

— 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

— Nutmeg (optional)







My parents bought me a Belgian waffle iron for Christmas a few years ago and I use it so much. This is my tried and true and favorite waffle recipe. Heat your waffle iron to high, spray both sides of the waffle iron, add 1 1/2 cups of batter and cook until ready.


If you don't like a crispy waffle, turn your temperature down to medium. I add butter, fruit and powdered sugar over the top and serve with maple syrup and your other favorite brunch items.
